A. Crivelli Automotive Group is seeking a positive, motivated, and customer-friendly Vehicle Detailers

A Detailer is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of company and or customer vehicles. This will include the ability to wash vehicles using high pressure wash equipment, wax vehicles with power equipment and maintaining the cleanliness of all vehicle inventory on the dealership property. The successful applicant will report to the Service Department Manager for direction and instruction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Buff and fully detail vehicles (cars and trucks) in a timely manner as determined by manager's requests for retail vehicles and wholesale vehicles.
• Perform work as outlined by immediate supervisor with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership standards.
• Assist in the maintenance of wash rack area, general garage area as well as the exterior lots.

Job Description:

• Automotive technicians / auto mechanics perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and standards (i.e. brake pads, rotors, alignments, etc.)
• Auto techs / automotive technicians perform used car checklists to identify what repairs need to be made
• Service techs provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay up to date on changing technology.
• Automotive technicians inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Job Requirements

As an Automotive Technician (Automotive Mechanic), you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Technician:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician (automotive mechanic)
• ASE certification preferred
• GM Certification preferred (but not required)
• Hold a valid driver's license
• PA State Inspection license
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
